There’s a small but important maintenance update for Forebears, and I’d like everyone to install it.
Please install the latest version (4.3.1) of Forebears from the App Store.
This update moves your existing data into the app’s standard storage. It’s a one-time change that keeps everything working correctly. If this update is skipped and you install a later version in the future, your existing data may no longer be accessible, so updating now is the safest option.
Nothing about how the app works will change, and no data leaves your device — this is purely an internal tidy-up so the app can continue to run as expected for the long term.
You may also notice in future that the app is listed under my own name rather than a company name. That’s simply me winding up a dormant company and continuing to support Forebears personally, just as I always have.
